Armadillo

Armadillos are very unique mammals, wearing a “coat of armor”. They have nine bands of hardened shell to protect them from predators. When threatened, they just curl up into a ball and wait for the predator to leave. They are unique in that they always give birth to four babies which are all the same sex and genetically identical. While they do cause damage in yards, they’re only pointing out to you that there are grubs or bugs in your yard. Sprinkling a cayenne pepper mixture (sold under the name Critter Ridder at home improvement stores) in the areas they dig annoys them and gets them to move on.
