Flying squirrel

While we’re all familiar the gray squirrel, you may not have ever seen a flying squirrel. They’re nocturnal and very quiet. They’re much smaller than gray squirrels and have extremely soft fur and “wings” or flaps of skin on the side of their bodies. They don’t actually fly, but glide from tree sometimes as far as 50 yards! They eat all kinds of different foods, including bugs!
